"One Name," a 3-minute, 24-second composition, features Rajinikanth in his iconic role, weaving in elements from the previous installment and even a popular meme line delivered in the superstar's distinct voice. The song's lyrics were penned by Super Subu, with a powerful chorus providing the vocals. This single follows the previously released track, "One Sun One Moon," as the filmmakers continue to build anticipation for the sequel.
Fans can look forward to the release of the fourth single, complete with its accompanying music video, on September 30, 2026. On the same day, the complete 12-track album for Jailer 2 will also become available for streaming.
The Road to Jailer 2
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 serves as the continuation of the blockbuster 2023 film Jailer. Rajinikanth will reprise his role as the formidable Muthuvel Pandian, with the narrative expected to pick up after the events of the original movie. Adding to the excitement, the official trailer for the film is slated for release on October 5, 2026, just ten days before the movie hits screens.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu in pivotal roles. Glimpses of Suraj, Suryah, and Vidya have already been shared by the makers, with these actors reportedly portraying antagonistic characters within the story.
