The latest season of Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has delivered another significant twist with the mid-week eviction of contestant Rhiti Tiwari. The daughter of prominent actor Manoj Tiwari, her departure from the house comes on the heels of a particularly heated "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode where Khan delivered a stern critique of her behavior and performance.
The Eviction Decision
Rhiti Tiwari's elimination was the result of a unique decision-making process involving the three contenders for captaincy: Mahhi Vij, Yung DSA, and Uditi Singh. Summoned to the confession room by Bigg Boss, they were tasked with identifying which nominated contestant had contributed the least to the show. Initially, Mahhi Vij mentioned Mary Kom, and Yung DSA named Aman Gandhi. However, Uditi Singh ultimately put forward Rhiti Tiwari's name. After discussion, both Mahhi and Yung DSA agreed with Uditi's assessment. Uditi explained her choice by stating she found Tiwari's "personality confusing" and highlighted a "sudden change in behaviour" observed in her interactions with fellow housemate Qazi Touqeer.
Khan's Strong Words
Tiwari's eviction closely followed a public reprimand from Salman Khan. During a previous "diss battle" task, Rhiti had engaged in a verbal altercation with Qazi Touqeer, using strong language and expressing her dislike for him, even accusing him of physical aggression. Far from supporting her, Khan openly criticized her language and conduct towards both Uditi and Qazi. He commended Qazi Touqeer and Uditi Singh for maintaining their composure throughout the contentious situation.
Khan did not mince words regarding Tiwari's performance in the task, reportedly calling it "the worst diss he had seen." He further observed that while Qazi had handled the insults gracefully, Rhiti seemed to consider herself a "rockstar" without receiving the same validation from others. Salman Khan also brought up her family background, noting that as Manoj Tiwari’s daughter, her presence on the show could be linked to nepotism. He stressed the importance of her building her own identity, asserting that any credit or blame for her actions should rest solely with her, rather than being associated with her father.
What Lies Ahead?
Despite the official announcement of Rhiti Tiwari's eviction, online discussions are rife with speculation. A common theory circulating among viewers is that she might not have been permanently removed from the Bigg Boss 20 house. Instead, some believe she may have been sent to a "secret room," a familiar twist in the reality series that allows contestants to observe their housemates discreetly before a potential re-entry.
