Dubbed Ranabaali Never Forget, the four-episode docu-series aims to delve deep into the historical context underpinning the film's storyline. The production team shared via social media that the series is the culmination of two years of dedicated research into 150 years of obscured history. They emphasized their commitment to uncovering a forgotten truth, stating that official accounts presented only one perspective, while the actual events were "far more devastating." Their goal is to "uncover what was buried, forgotten, and never spoken about," revealing "a truth that must never be forgotten."

Both Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, along with director Rahul Sankrityan, are slated to feature in the documentary series. The inaugural episode will debut online on September 28, 2026, accessible through Mythri Movie Makers' official digital channels.

The film follows the journey of a courageous warrior who confronts British colonial rule after observing his community endure starvation and exploitation. Supported by his wife, Jayamma, this warrior spearheads a robust rebellion against the oppressive British commissioner, Sir Theodore Hector. Their resistance involves targeting colonial grain reserves and conducting guerrilla operations to safeguard their community.
